What is PNK Garden? PNK Garden is an urban garden in South London, in the border between Rotherhithe and Deptford and was started in 2020.

Who is behind PNK Garden?  We are a group of residents from Southwark and Lewisham who have been given management rights to set up an urban garden. We are fully independent, self-managed, self-funded, shared and free.

When is the garden open?  The garden is open to volunteers and visitors on open days: first and third Sunday morning of the month. Members can access the garden anytime (only daylight, with exception of GoodGym sessions).

Who can join? Everyone is welcome to join our community garden, free of charge, regardless of where you life. There is always something to do for people of all ages and abilities and we are a super friendly bunch. We even have a pirate boat for the little ones.

How does it work? At PNK Garden we share everything: allotment spaces, duties and harvest. Each member picks a task to lead on, such as keeping the polytunnel, tidying, soil health or coordinating watering. Everyone gets started as a volunteer and if they want become members after a few visits, that simple!

How much does it cost? For now we have managed to keep the garden open free of charge for all thanks to donations from local residents and organisations. Your donations will help us improve the garden.

Where is the garden? We are in Lower Road with Croft Street (London, SE8 5DR), near Lidl and McDonalds.

Stations: Surrey Quays (overground) and Canada Water (underground).
